Dental Implant Procedures...

Our center specializes in full mouth dental implant procedures that range from single-site dental implants (6 to 10 dental implants per arch), the All-On-4 dental implant bridge which is a non-removable procedure and permanent dentures. Single-site dental implants consist of six to ten implants per arch (upper and / or lower) that permanently fix all-porcelain and all-zirconia crowns and bridges to each dental implant. There's no procedure in full mouth implant dentistry that looks, feels and functions as naturally as single-site tooth replacements. The All-On-4 procedure provides four implants that secures a non-removable bridge that has 12 to 14 teeth with a titanium substructure. Our center also provides the "permanent dentures" procedure which secures two to four dental implants to each denture (upper and / or lower) so that the denture can not be removed or come loose without intention.

  • Single-Site Dental Implants
  • The All-On-4
  • Permanent Dentures

All-On-4 Dental Implants Houston

The All-On-4 dental implant procedure that our center offers here in Houston makes it possible (clinically and financially) to perform a full mouth reconstruction in just one-visit! The All-On-4 dental implant procedure consists of two primary treatment visits. During the first treatment visit, all of the surgeries are performed under IV sedation and the teeth are secured so that the patient can leave with new implant supported teeth that feel and function naturally. The second treatment visit consists of removing the interim teeth, which are intended to last for three to six months, and placing the permanent teeth. Final revisions are made during follow up visits to ensure that everything looks, feels and functions just right.

Permanent Dentures

When the All-On-4 procedure is not a viable option for a patient (clinically or financially), implant secured dentures may be an option. Since there are so many different types of implant secured dentures, we ask our potential patients to visit with us for a complimentary consultation to discuss which option is best for the particular circumstance. For instance, the following are permanent denture treatments that are all uniquely different from one another:

  • Over-dentures
  • 2-Implant Secured Dentures
  • 4-Implant Secured Dentures
  • Mini Implant Secured Dentures
  • 4-Implant Secured Dentures With Titanium Bar (Palateless Dentures)

Dental Implant Alternatives...

Many of our patients will ask about dental implant alternatives. Generally speaking, dental implant alternatives range from root canal therapy, multi-unit bridges and dentures. All of these alternatives will typically be temporary so be sure to ask your dentist about the prognosis for the respective treatment that you are considering. In most cases, patients will end up enduring more treatments that will cost more money in the long run so be sure to do your research and always seek out a second or third expert opinion before making a treatment decision.

  • Root Canal Therapy
  • Tooth Extraction
  • Multi-Unit Bridges
  • Removable Dentures
  • Partial Dentures

Dental Implant Costs...

A smile makeover with custom veneers (all-porcelain, all-ceramic, all-zirconia) will vary in cost that ranges from $1600ea to $2000ea. The average cost of a smile makeover with custom porcelain veneers is $36,000 for upper 10 and lower 10, and it's worth each and every penny. A good way to assess how many teeth you should have veneered is by looking at how many teeth you show in smile line and when you talk. It also helps to count one through ten and see how many teeth you show. If you're not sure, don't worry, our expert cosmetic dentists will make a recommendation based on your individual needs and smile wishes. Love what you see...

  • Single-Site Dental Implants: $4000 to $6500ea (can cost up to $50K per arch)
  • The All-On-4 Procedure: $18500 to $28500 per arch
  • Permanent Dentures: $7500 to $17500 per arch
  • Root Canal Therapy: $1400 to $1600 per tooth
  • Tooth Extraction: $195 to $575 for impacted wisdom teeth

  • Removable Dentures: $11000 (for the immediate and permanent denture)

Dental Implant Insurance...

Our center accepts all PPO dental insurance plans and offers flexible, affordable financial options (for those that qualify). Don't settle for cheap, less qualified alternatives... you get what you pay for! For patients that have standard dental insurance plans with dental implant coverage, often times, the policy will cover $1500 to $2000 per calendar year.

The potential problems and complications include, but are not limited to the following:

I started my dental implants treatment at a seemingly "qualified" dental implant office off of highway 6 (close to my house). Twenty days after the first surgery, one of the implants just came out. Now, the oral surgeon tells me that it is "my" fault and that "I" will now need more treatment to correct and it will cost "me" more money. I just had a bad feeling in my stomach so I asked around, and did extensive researched, to find a true comprehensive dental implant center. I was absolutely astonished at how many professional referrals pointed to one place - Dentiq's Dental Implants In Houston.

When I made my first appointment, they recommended that I bring my conebeam 3d scan with me and any additional diagnostic information such as x-rays, stents and the implant guided surgery plan??? I asked them to clarify what they were asking for as they took the time to explain...   the diagnostic conebeam 3d image enables the implant specialist to precisely plan, predict and implement the implant process. I called my other dentist to ask them if they had any of this on record. They simply told me "no," and that those things are only done inside the medical center. I demanded to talk to my dentist their as he informed me that all that extra stuff is unnecessary. When I came to learn what all of this extra stuff provides, I was floored that there are dental offices out there that DO offer dental and denture implants but DO NOT require, nor have, the technology to offer this standard of care.

I arrived at my first appointment at Dentiq, I met with the dental implant surgeon (Dr. Hanna), the cosmetic restorative dentist (Dr. Johnson), the iv / oral sedation dentist (I forgot his name) and the treatment plan coordinator (Brian). They walked me next door to take a 3d scan. We learned that I had an abscess over the tooth where the dental implant came out. Additionally, I had another abscess over another implant that the "other" office had placed which was sure to fail in due time. When you can actually see the 3d scan, you can see all the information it provides and you will not believe that "other" offices do not demand this critical piece of information before doing the surgery. Dentiq took the time, and they had the complete skill set, and they had the technology to accurately plan, predict and treat me like a true implant center should.

Yes, it did cost me more than I had expected (approximately ten percent more) but in return, I got peace of mind and I got exactly what I had paid for. It has been eight months since Dentiq finished my treatment and I have had no problems. In fact, I am all smiles and now I am huge advocate for doing extensive research before making any significant treatment decision. If you live in Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands or in a surrounding area of Houston, I highly recommend looking into a true treatment center for implant, restorative and cosmetic dentistry where the complete treatment team can, and will, take accountability to take great care of you. My treatment was extensive and I was presented with the sedation option to receive oral conscious sedation or IV (general anesthesia) sedation. I opted for IV sedation as they completed the majority of my treatment while I was totally sleeping. While I remain disappointed with my "other" dental office, I wanted to be sure to share this experience and hopefully influence and inspires those seeking specialized dental services, such as implants, do the due diligence to find yourself in good hands.

Forever grateful,

Hope Huckabee Evans, Houston
